Daily Scales collects nothing.
No accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, no third-party services. The app makes no network requests, and there is no server behind it to make them to. Your practice history, your settings and your imported tunes live on your iPad and nowhere else. Delete the app and they're gone with it.
Apple handles the purchase through the App Store. I never see your name, your email address or any payment details.
This website works the same way: no cookies, no analytics, no trackers.
YouTube
Daily Scales has a YouTube channel, and I publish its videos with a small tool I wrote that uses YouTube API Services. This section is about that tool. Nothing about it touches the app or this website.
The tool runs on my own computer and signs in to the Daily Scales channel with my own Google account. It uploads the videos I have rendered, sets their thumbnails and adds them to playlists. That is all it does.
It has no users other than me. It does not collect, store or share anyone's data. The only thing it keeps is the sign-in token Google issues for my channel, in a file on my computer, so that I do not have to sign in again for every upload. Deleting that file ends its access, and nothing else remains to delete.
Because it uses YouTube API Services, the tool is bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and by Google's Privacy Policy. Access granted to it can be revoked at any time from the Google security settings page.
This site links to the channel but does not embed a player, so visiting this site makes no request to YouTube. Watching the channel itself is covered by YouTube's own terms and privacy policy, not by this page.
If any of that ever changes, this page will say so plainly before it does.
